Sacred Bodywork Lomilomi Library was created from a strong desire to make easily accessible in our website the wonderful abundance of inspiring writers and empowering Lomilomi articles available on the internet.

We wanted to combine our passion for teaching with our passion for Hawaiian history, Hawaiian culture, Hawaiian shamanic Bodywork and Hawaiian Lomilomi Massage & Kahuna Bodywork to create a virtual library with Hawaiian articles that reflect sensitively and accurately portrayals of Native Hawaiians Kahuna/Healers, Lomilomi Temple Style Practitioners and Hawaiian healing arts in general.

  • It is our desire and commitment to perpetuate and preserve the Hawaii’s culture, the Spirit of Aloha, Hawaiian language, history, culture, traditions and values to perpetuate the unique cultural heritage of Hawaii
  • Sacred Bodywork Lomilomi Library aims to be a way to inspire, to guide, to create curiosity and the zest to learn more
  • Honor gifted Lomilomi practitioners/teachers/writers sharing their wisdom and knowledge
  • Support Hawaiian educational programs and holistic practitioners, bodyworkers and Lomilomi practitioners to preserve and perpetuate the Hawaiian culture/the Huna principles/ Lomi practices/protocols where appropriate
  • Develop Continuing Education programs and materials for educating Lomilomi students and those working in healing arts on authentic Hawaiian culture, music, hula dance, poetry and Hawaiian spirituality issues

Our mission is to perpetuate and preserve the art of Hawaiian Lomilomi through personal/spiritual growth and transformational bodywork rooted in the ancient wisdom of the Hawaiian culture and the power of the Aloha spirit.

The Hawaiian culture is known for its generosity, hospitality and warm sharing — embodies a giving nature that is grounded in the principle of reciprocity. When given, the Hawaiian people give back in equal measure or more, be it a gift or a smile.

We Hawaiian Lomilomi practitioners/teachers, who live, practice the spirit of aloha, and received the gift of Lomilomi must help support and preserve the Hawaiian culture and traditions for future generations. The spirit of aloha contains much wisdom, love and compassion and Huna the interactive experience of sharing.

We invite anyone interested to be in this library to send us your articles about the subject; please make sure to include name of the writer, date of publishing and source website address/links. Relevant articles will be posted/updated regularly to assist Lomi Lomi students in finding the beauty, the spiritually and the magic of it.
